SPC300-EoC Solution
New generation Ethernet-Over-Coax SoC with Linux EoC firmware
High-performance, cost competitive, flexible, scalable, remotely manageable, SPiDCOM EoC Solutions are the ideal combination for Triple-Play communications over existing coaxial cable networks.
Building upon the success of SPC200-EoC Solution, widely deployed on the Chinese market, SPiDCOM developped the new generation SPC300-EoC Solution.
The SPC300-EoC Solution is based on an open platform with a dedicated Linux EoC firmware.
The SPC300-EoC Solution is available in two versions:
- SPC300c: 15x15mm 265-contact PBGA, with all interfaces available, advised for master nodes design.
- SPC310c: 20x20mm 176-contact PQFP, with an optimised set of interfaces, advised for slave nodes design.
Use case:
SPiDCOM SPC300-EoC Solution has been designed for broadband added-value applications over existing CATV networks.
Cable-operators can take advantage of this new EoC solution to provide added-value Triple-Play services to their customers over existing CATV infrastructures.

MAC overview:
SPiDCOM SPC300-EoC Solution MAC is based on a Linux kernel open platform. SPiDCOM delivers GPL (General Public Licence) Kernel & other applications, as well as the adapted toolchain (gcc) ; only specific PLC driver is encrypted.
This way, device manufacturers can easily develop and customize their own applications as well as their own network management tools.

- Service Management based on ToS or VLAN (Id or prio) for VoD, VoIP, Internet
