ASICs

SPiDCOM provides two ranges of PLC (Powerline Communication) integrated circuits:

• SPC200
• SPC300

Firmware

Along with its integrated circuits, SPiDCOM provides Linux-based firmware.

These software distributions run on SPC chips and are based on a Linux kernel.

SPiDCOM delivers:

• Specific PLC driver (binary),

• Kernel & other applications are GPL (General Public Licence),

• Adapted toolchain (gcc),

This way, device manufacturers can easily develop and customize their own added-value applications and network management tools. It enables a very complete end-product differentiation (hardware, software, system).

Reference Designs

To assist the work of product designers, SPiDCOM provides reference designs and technical documentation to cut product development time and quicken the time-to-market.

Evaluation Kits

Reference design boards and an user licence of SPiDMonitor are bundled in a special offer for manufacturers to test SPiDCOM's solution and prototype their PLC applications.

SPiDMonitor is a Java application for node monitoring and real-time analysis of the communication parameters through statistics.

It is an open standard SNMP based interface and its is available on a wide variety of platforms.

Support / Training

SPiDCOM puts great emphasis in customer support, in order to ease the product development phases.
